Your Midmonth Village Update

Dear Villagers,
On March 7, the Village celebrated 10 years of volunteers providing services and members sharing social events. Our Founding Father, Paul Harrington, has been at the helm through it all and even several years previously as the work for setting up the Village was done. For your enjoyment, we share photos of Paul in his Village regalia and the declaration created by Kitty Krajci that she read to those at the celebration.
Upcoming Village Events

- Thursday, March 19 (9:00 AM): Paul Harrington and Bill Franz discuss the Greater Newburyport Village on The Morning Show with Mary Jacobsen. Tune into WJOP (96.3 FM) for the live show or stream from NCM Hub SoundCloud channel. Streaming is also available at the Newburyport Community Media YouTube channel.

Villagers Share - Request for Referral*: Village member seeks to hire a nurse to change a heel wound dressing for several weeks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please send recommendations by replying to this email or calling (978) 206-1821.
* Village volunteers are prohibited from providing medical services due to insurance restrictions but a referral would be very helpful. Thank you.

Important Reminders
- When requesting services, please...
- Call the Village number (not a volunteer directly) between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Call 48 hours prior to the date of service to give volunteers time to respond.
- If you need help with groceries, call the Village to request a Market Basket gift certificate.
