In addition to providing services, a major Village goal is to ensure we do all we can to eliminate isolation from our members' lives. That's why we provide opportunities to meet members and socialize at dinners, field trips, special celebrations, interest groups, and Village Talks.
But when it is difficult to get out of the house because of weather, or due to personal or health issues, we are also happy to make calls and home visits. Please don't hesitate to call the Village to set up a regularly scheduled call or home visit. That's what we're here for!
Special Member Highlight
Member Sarah Seabury Ward's sculpture exhibit titled Creating Through the Elements is on display at the Custom House Maritime Museum from September 9 to October 26. Stop by to admire her works inspired by nature and its animals.

- When requesting services, please...
- Call the Village number (not a volunteer directly) between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Call 48 hours prior to the date of service to give volunteers time to respond.
- If you need help with groceries, call the Village to request a Market Basket gift certificate.
